It is native to India, Sri Lanka, northern Australia, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Melanesia, Papua New Guinea, and other parts of Asia.The main active ingredient of gotu kola extract is asiaticoside,asiatic acid,madecassoside ,total triperpenes and TECA .
